This policy explains what WhalePips does with the personal data you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who we are
WhalePips is a copy trading brand operated by Quantitative Trading Solutions LLC. WhalePips is a sister brand of QuantX (quantx.io) and QuantX Capital (quantxcapital.io), operated by the same company. For anything relating to your data, write to hello@whalepips.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form on this site: your name, your email address, the strategy you are interested in, optionally your broker, and whatever you write in the message field. We also record the date and time of the submission.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your broker password, your card details, or any government identification document through this form.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and to send you the setup information you asked for. That is the only purpose. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to someone who contacted us.
Who else sees it
The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers the submission to our inbox, and our email provider stores the message. Neither is given permission to use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, lead-generation companies or anyone else who might contact you about something you did not ask about.
How long we keep it
For as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards for up to 24 months in case you come back to us. After that it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time and we will, without asking why.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have it corrected if it is wrong.
- Have it deleted.
- Withdraw your consent, which stops any further contact from us.
- Object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict that use.
Write to hello@whalepips.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google servers when the page loads. If we add analytics later, this policy will be updated first and you will be asked before any tracking cookie is set.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you and the relevant authority without delay.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects data we already hold about you, contact you directly.
